TESTING CENTER FUNCTIONS

The Testing Center assumes the following functions: 1) quality inspection of products, semi-finished products, technical materials, auxiliaries materials and packaging materials; 2) providing technical analysis for research and development of pesticide formulation and development of new pesticide varieties as well as samples from customers; 3) implementing quality control during the entire process of product production; 4) implementing drainage monitoring of production wastewater and domestic wastewater; 5) developing technical standards for company product processing according to the pesticide standards prepared by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO), and the domestic standard code for pesticide products, as well as practice of pesticide export processing business of the company and the requirements of technological progress; 6) participating in handling product quality disputes; 7) improving instrument and equipment construction in the Testing Center in accordance with the needs of research and development of pesticide formulation and product testing.

PERFECT TESTING METHODS AND HIGH QUALITY TESTING TEAM

Response to production, research and development of diversified formulations and various products, the company established a testing center according to high standards, and equipped multiple liquid chromatograph, gas chromatograph, spectrophotometer, laser particle sizer, mobile potentiometer, electron microscope, conductivity meter, moisture meter, flash point tester, PH meter, viscosity meter, oscillation instrument (determination of dropping rate of seed coating agent), centrifugal sedimentation analyzer (determination of centrifugal stability), constant temperature water-bathing boiler, water-bathing test tube heat instrument (emulsion analysis), blast dry box (thermal storage test of products), refrigeration and cooler boxes (low-temperature storage test of products), density meter and electronic balance, etc. and other advanced testing instruments. SUBDIVISION AND STANDARDIZATION OF PRODUCT QUALITY INDEXES

Subdivision and standardization of product quality indexes: FAO Standard prepared by UN FAO is generally used as a quality index of exported pesticide products. FAO Standard was prepared in full consideration of diversity of requirements for pesticide quality in different countries and regions, particularity of ocean transportation and scope of test error at a lower and broader standard. During the practical trades, we usually prepare quality with FAO Standard as an objective basis, based on customer’s requirements and quality target that we can meet and with reference to quality target of equivalent products manufactured by international pesticide companies. Moreover, actual test result of our products is generally higher than the prescribed target. With increasing emerging of new pesticide formulations and new types, product quality index changes accordingly. More and more indexes appear in our product technology index, such as suspension viscidity index, lasting foam quality, pourability, drop rate, suspension seed coating agent, measurement of particle size distribution, suspension layering index, cold storage index in frigid zone, rigidity index of WDG and collapse index.

SCREENING AND QUALITY CONTROL OF TECHNICAL MATERIAL SOURCE

Content of technical material is the most important factor affecting preparation processing quality. High quality products are only made from high quality technical material. Technical material with lower content, more foreign substance, and high acidity will cause different impacts on different formulations, such as powder dispersibility, nonconforming PH value, bad stability and difficulty in sedimentation of flocs in emulsifiable concentrate, poor transparency and deeper external color. The Company uniformly purchases technical material with contents around 95%. The applicability to formulation varies with synthesis processes of different manufactures of the same technical material. Difference of technical material appearance also affects appearance of preparations. Therefore, it is an important part to ensure the quality of preparation by screening technical material from the same variety of different manufacturers.

EXPLORATION AND INNOVATION IN PESTICIDE PACKAGING TEST

In recent years, the requirements for pesticide packaging quality of foreign clients are more demanding than ever. However, the packaging materials, packaging machinery and packaging test methods in our country cannot yet meet the quality requirements for export packaging. Package deformation and leakage has always been a great trouble for domestic pesticide packaging companies. Therefore, we have conducted experiments in cream nitrogen-charging test, oxygen consumption of liquid, weightlessness test, breathable film seal test, automatic measurement online test, thickness of barrier material, uniformity and barrier property test, leakage test, initial viscosity of self-adhesive label, viscosity test, dusty degree of WDG, bulk density, abrasive resistance test, product stability test under the superhigh and superlow temperature, and packing container test in order to ensure the packaging quality of pesticide preparations exports.。

ESTABLISH STOCK OF RESERVED PRODUCT SAMPLES AND TAKE OUT RESERVED SAMPLES WHENEVER A CUSTOMER INQUIRES ABOUT QUALITY

It is an indispensable condition of product quality verification to keep samples as per production lot during product process. Foreign trade companies sometimes will conduct SGS inspection as required by customers, or commission the domestic third party to conduct inspections; however, under most situations, foreign trade companies make delivery to foreign customers against quality test report provided by manufacturers. If customers make quality inquiry or objection after the goods arrives at the destination, re-inspection of samples kept in production process will surely be required. Meanwhile, test results should be truthfully recorded to prepare for inquiry by customers. 。
