The Liquid R&D Room is mainly engaged in R&D of pesticide formulations such as SC, FS, EW, ME, SE, OF and CS (capsule suspension).

RAPID SC DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPANY

In recent years, SC has been developing the fastest among the domestic and foreign pesticide formulations, and tends to gradually substitute traditional WP formulations. Compared with WP, SC is characterized by fine granule (2-5μm)，desirable fluidity, dispersion, spread property and biological activity, high suspension rate (90-95%), desirable adhesiveness and spread property resisting rain washing, absence of solvent, environmentally-friendliness, high safety and low processing expenses. In recent years, considerable part of high-efficient and ultra high efficient pesticides newly introduced in the world has been prepared into SC formulation. At present, the company has processed more than 160 SC varieties, and both the varieties and processing volumes are increasing year by year.

CHARACTERISTICS OF R&D AND PROCESSING OF OUR COMPANY FOR SC

In 2011, at the invitation of the research society of pesticide preparations and applications in Japan, our company went to Japan to attend for internationally academic exchanges on pesticide preparations and applications, having mainly introduced our company’s research achievements in terms of SC. Our company is the only Chinese company who was invited to Japan for the academic meeting.
Some SC is difficult for processing due to physical and chemical properties and physical stability of TC, but we do very well in the R&D and export processing in the following kinds of SC with domestic leading technology in pesticide industry, our products has been recognized by numerous users at home and abroad and favor.
1）SC of high solubility TC
Some TC’s water solubility is very large (> 100 mg/L), their granules are easily to deposit or solidify in water, this phenomenon is called Osborne's maturation in theory.Those products including Bispyribac-sodium 400 g/L SC, Metalaxyl 350g/L SC, Thiamethoxam 600g/L SC, Imidacloprid 600g/L SC, Pymetrozine 250g/L SC, Glyphosate 300g/L SC, Mesotrione 100g/L SC and so on.
Low melting point TC
2）Those TC whose melting point below 60℃, usually referred to as low melting point TC. Their processed products during the storage period due to their low melting point. The products we can processing for export including Chlorpyrifos 400g/L SC, Ethofenprox 100g/L SC, Lambda-Cyhalothrin 100g/L SC, Mefenpyr-Diethyl 250g/L SC, Pendimethalin 400g/L SC, Difenoconazole 400g/L SC, Prochloraz 250g/L SC and so on.
3）SC of high content TC
An international trend is that the content of active ingredient in pesticide is increasing (TC’s is more than 50%), but those SC are easily to become a paste or solid body due to their high content. The products we can processing for export including Metamitron 700 g/L SC, Diuron 800 g/L SC, Chlorothalonil 720g/L SC, Thiram 600g/L SC, Aclonifen 600g/L SC, Avermectins 500g/L SC, Thiacloprid 600g/L SC, Clothianidin 600g/L SC, Pyrimethanil 600g/L SC and so on.
4）SC that such as Linuron 500g/L SC, Emamectin Benzoate 200g/L SC (including combination products), Metazachlor 450g/L SC, Mancozeb 600g/L SC, Paraquat + Diuron (140g/L+350g/L) SC and so on.

WATER FS IS AFORMULATION UNDER KEY DEVELOPMENT BY THE COMPANY

As a kind of pesticide preparation with film-forming characteristics used for coating of plants and other plant seeds, seed coating agent is generally prepared by technical material, dispersant, wetting agent, film former, pH regulator, antifreeze, defoamer, other auxiliaries and water. It can be directly coated on the seed surface after dilution to form a protective film with certain strength and permeability, so it is named as seed coating agent.
FS is the key pesticide formulation developed by the company in recent years. There are more than 20 relatively stable export processing varieties. In recent years, FS has received considerable attention thanks to its high efficiency, economy, safety, long pesticide duration and multi-function, and account for a very large proportion of the seed treatment formulation in Europe. In the world seed treatment market, the sales volume in Europe accounts for 60%. Among the seed treatment

products, 70% belongs to bactericide. The conventional processing and export varieties and export regions of the company are basically consistent with the data.

Characteristics of the seed coating products of Gaozheng Agrochemical Co., Ltd

1. Good storage stability. Our agent products can remain stable within the storage life of two years. The left products of this quarter are still usable in the next quarter.
2. Good performance in withstanding adverse situation. In the cold country, even been frozen, the agent can re-gain its performance after being unfrozen and can still work well.
3. Low viscosity (even the FS with high content such as imidacloprid 600 g/IFS has a low viscosity). The leveling is good when applying coating and the coating is average and uneasy to drop.
4. Low average water content after coating (generally it is 0.3%) which is far lower than the common requirement of 2% and the surface drying speed is fast.
5. Similar PH value with the PH value of the countries and regions which the agents are used. Instead of unsafe antifreeze agent such as glycol, glycerol and urea ones are adopted for the products which can provide a safe use of these seed coating.
6. Warning coloration ratio can provide a coating coloring effect which can satisfy the customers.

R&D AND PROCESSING VARIETIES OF EW

EW is a kind of pesticide formulation with appearance of milky white liquid which is formed by dispersing liquid pesticide mixed by liquid or with solvent in water in 0.5-1.5μm droplet. Since the formulation substitutes water for one copy or all organic solvents, EW replaces EC as a new excellent environmentally-friendly pesticide formulation. At present, we can processing nearly twenty varieties of EW, and the varietie is increasing gradually.
The EW products we can processing for export as follows:
Acetochlor 400 g/L EW, Beta-cypermethrin 50 g/L EW, Butachlor 400 g/L EW, Chlorpyrifos 400 g/L(300 g/L) EW, Deltamethrin 25 g/L EW, Dicofol 200 g/L EW, Fenoxaprop-P-ethyl 69 g/L(75 g/L) EW, Lambda-cyhalothrin 25 g/L(50 g/L) EW125 g/L(250 g/L) EW, Oxadiazon 120 g/L EW, Penconazole 200 g/L EW, Prochloraz 450 g/L(250 g/L) EW.

NEW DEVELOPMENT OF SE OF THE COMPANY

Among water-dispersible pesticide formulations, SE, a new formulation having emerged in the world in recent years, is combined by mixture of liquefied pesticide insoluble in water or that of low melting point with solvent and solid technical material insoluble in water. It can be regarded as the combination of SC and EW formulations in terms of formulation.Since SE has the cross influence of various unstable factors existing in SC and EW, so it is more difficult to process stable SE formulation than stable SC and EW.
Thanks to many years of practical pesticide foreign trade and processing, we have initially accumulated some experience and undertaken processing and export of some varieties such as alachlor 350g/L +200g/L, atragine SE, acetochlor 200g/L + atragine 200g/L SE, buprofezin 300g/L + profenofos 50g/L SE, etc.

CAPSULE SUSPENSIONS (CS)

Capsule suspensions (CS) is the most environmentally friendly and new formulation of pesticides with the world's highest technical content and the best development prospects. Taking polymer as the capsule wall or capsule, it is a non-homogeneous system which packages the active ingredients of pesticides as the capsule core by using chemical, physical or physical-chemical methods to form a micro-capsule with semi-permeable capsule, and stably disperses and suspends it with certain concentration in the water.

The biggest advantages of cs

1.Significantly reduced pesticide application costs. The consumption of technical materials is reduced by 1 / 3 to 1 / 2, moreover, 80% costs of emulsifiers and other additives are saved.
2. Good prevention effect. The active ingredients in CS are concentrated in 30% -50% of the capsule core, where the efficacy can be controlled and sustained released. Besides, photolysis, hydrolysis and oxidation of pesticides are significantly reduced. Validity period of pesticides can be extended for 3-10 times.
3. Adaptable to different acid and alkaline water.
4. Greatly reduced the toxicity of pesticides for pesticide operators and livestock.
5. Minimized environmental pollution.
6. This formulation makes it possible to compound pesticides of different pH values.

After years of efforts, the company has developed such CS formulations as lambda-cyhalothrin, chlorpyrifos, cyhalothrin + chlorpyrifos, abamectin and fipronil, and successfully exported them. The CS products we can processing for export as follows:
